Terms of Service

ClinchCV is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that scores resumes, checks ATS compatibility, and analyses job-specific fit. For any questions about these Terms, contact us at support@clinchcv.com.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

The free plan includes a limited number of resume reviews for the lifetime of your account. A “review” unlocks AI analysis (scoring, ATS checks, and job matching) for a single resume; re-running analysis on an already-unlocked resume does not consume an additional review.

Paid (Pro) subscriptions remove these limits and are billed through our payment processor, Razorpay, on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You retain all rights to the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant ClinchCV a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service — including sending it to our AI provider to generate analysis. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not permit our AI provider to use it for training their models. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not contain anyone else’s confidential information without permission.

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate scores, suggestions, and written content. This output is provided for guidance only, may contain errors, and is not professional career, legal, or hiring advice. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output. We do not guarantee any particular hiring or interview outcome.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse engineer it, circumventing review or rate limits, uploading unlawful or malicious content, attempting to extract other users’ data, or using the Service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ClinchCV and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClinchCV and its officers, employees, and service providers are not responsible or liable for any damages arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes, without limitation, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, and exemplary damages, as well as loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or employment or business opportunities — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In all cases, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (or ₹1,000 if you have paid us nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClinchCV and its officers, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
